An Independent Platform for Culinary Medicine Development in Viet Nam

Culinary Medicine Vietnam is an independent, Vietnam-based platform advancing evidence-informed culinary medicine through education, teaching kitchens, research, local adaptation, and international collaboration.

We connect international evidence and implementation models with Vietnamese expertise to develop practical approaches suited to Viet Nam’s food culture, ingredients, resources, workforce, and healthcare context.

We aim to serve as a trusted point of connection for Vietnamese and international organizations seeking to develop responsible culinary medicine and teaching kitchen initiatives in Viet Nam.

What Is Culinary Medicine?

Culinary medicine is an interdisciplinary field that combines nutrition science with practical cooking skills, experiential learning, and behavior-support strategies.

It helps healthcare professionals, educators, learners, and communities translate food and nutrition knowledge into realistic decisions, meals, and daily practices.

Culinary medicine complements appropriate medical care, clinical nutrition, and dietetic services. It does not replace individualized assessment or treatment by qualified professionals.
